Regular Membership            $40 a Year Eligibility: If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving - you are eligible for membership in The American Legion! *Because eligibility dates remain open, all active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States. **U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).

SAL Membership $40 a Year Eligibility: · All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in service during WWI, WWII and Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and the Persian Gulf War, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article lV, Section 1, of the National Constitution of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service.

AUX Membership        $40 for 1st Year        $35 for renewal Eligibility: ·  Must be related to veteran (who served as stated under the qualifications listed under the American Legion column) as a: · Mother · Wife · Sister · Daughter · Granddaughter · Great-Granddaughter · Grandmother · Great grandmother · Step relatives are eligible)·

We will need a copy of your or your relative's DD214 (Discharge papers).  We can request a DD214 for you or you can request it by going to:
